Bangor, Maine: We seek a confident and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join Maine’s largest FQHC / community health center. This progressive practice has 1000 employees – including over 200 clinical providers – across 17 practice sites and service locations. If working full time (40 hours/week), you will split your schedule across two locations. Half of your time will be spent in a dedicated health center adjacent to a shelter for the homeless and those in transitional housing. The rest of your hours will be in outpatient counseling/therapy and med management services for individuals and families in the largest practice in Bangor, where 2 dozen providers offer primary care, urgent care, addiction recovery and more. If you prefer a part time schedule, you will join the homeless facility health center only. In this challenging and rewarding position you will join a supportive team of psychiatrists, family medicine physicians, PMHNPs, psychotherapists, and licensed clinical social workers providing mental health, recovery treatment and medication-assisted treatment to some of the neediest adults in the community.
