Dear FNAP members,
Hope all of you are enjoying your summer.
We had a great presence at the AANP national conference. I had my own share of experiencing ANA membership assembly meeting in DC and a day on the Hill.
As advanced practice nurses, we never stop learning.FNAP board members have been really active this summer creating the most attended event of the year. They have worked hard to find speakers and selected topics that were suggested by attendees as well as most relevant to our practice.
The current healthcare is looking at us, APNs as the significant primary care provider for the future. We need more and more practicing APNs as well as NP students to be part of FNAP where we can engage in important conversations and continue to advance our roles, support our students and create more opportunities for each other.
Please look for the event on September 7 where we would like to meet the members and have them register for the annual education day which is on November 15.
Please spread the word and invite your colleagues and friends to join FNAP.
We are growing and we need more and more APNs to be engaged in committees.
Please note that you must become a member of NJSNA (www.njsna.org)
to become FNAP member (https://fnap.enpnetwork.com/)
Sincerely,
Varsha Singh DNP, APN, RN
