Dear colleagues,

It is time that APNs stand together to get rid of the barriers and myths that interfere with patient care. Please see article posted above, the AMA and other groups have been quite vocal regarding our competence to offer quality care. Assembly bill A 1760 has been re-introduced in the NJ Assembly. Please call and visit your representatives and ask them to support this bill. New Jersey APNs need to stand together and let our voices be heard. Thanks for posting this article and update. Sad state of affairs here in NJ. Time for some action by the nurse practitioners in this state and their supporters to force a change through legislation.

Suzanne Drake and I visited Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez, District 19, Middlesex today. She will add herself as co-sponsor to the Bill and will see what connections she can make to move the bill along.
