Please participate in a National APRN Practice & Pandemic Survey We need NJ APN representation

Posted almost 5 years ago by Victoria Eftychiou

A national U.S. survey was launched on June 1, 2020,  to assess impact of APRN practice restrictions and effect of COVID-19 pandemic on APRN practice. However, as of today, there are 65 responses from New Jersey out of the total of 3,600+ national responses.

The purpose of the study is to: 1) describe state practice barriers,  2) determine the effect of COVID-19 pandemic-related suspension of all practice restrictions or waiver of select practice agreement requirements in states with reduced or restricted practice, and 3) explore the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on APRN practice.

The brief, anonymous, voluntary, IRB reviewed survey can be accessed online HERE!

Please help us obtain a representative state response.  A robust national response to the survey has the potential to provide evidence to advance the role of APRNs.  The results will be shared with nursing leaders including, Action Coalitions, state boards of nursing, and national APRN organization leaders, and will be submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. I have attached an announcement about the survey that you are welcome to use in your promotion of the survey.

Thanks in advance on behalf of the study-co-investigators!  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hope all is well with you.

Best regards.
