WHAT TO SAY:

“I’m calling because on April 2nd APNs will again be required to obtain costly joint protocol physician agreements. Many cannot find physicians willing to enter into these contracts, or afford their fees.

If this happens, APNs may be forced to close their practices, reducing access to mental health, primary care, and women’s health services.

APNs have been safely providing this care autonomously for the past six years.

I urge immediate action to protect patient access and support Bill S2996 / A4052 without amendments that will harm patients. Please allow APNs to continue providing the care New Jersey residents rely on.”
